I am a graphic and user interface designer living and working in the Dallas, TX area. I've created this web site to showcase select professional work as well as a few personal pieces.

I produce graphic sketches, designs, and copy layouts for online and application content. This involves determining the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selecting style and size of type, and arranging layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts. I value the importance of keeping up to date with the industry's latest best practices, concepts, techniques, and procedures. I strive to create designs that are clean, fresh, consistent, usable and appropriate.

While I specialize in the aesthetics, I also have considerable experience with information architecture design (i.e. process flows, site maps and wire frames). I am accustomed to working on/with a large team of people and respectively playing my part, whether it be leading the effort or lending a hand as a support role. I am comfortable working on large scale projects or juggling multiple projects. At times I have managed a small team of designers and served as art director on a number of projects, including several interactive flash tours and demos.

I have over eight years of experience in this field, all of which were spent working for a large telecommunications company. I am currently accepting new freelance projects and seeking a full-time position as an interface designer.
